Music is a bit of a personal passion of our team here so we always have a great time photographing musicians or other artists to show them and their craft as one. If they happen to pick up their instrument and play, all the better!
OUR APPROACH
Musicians are artists. Some are joyous, excitable, outrageous characters. Others brooding and mysterious... they all have their story and their reasons for doing what they do and writing what they write, and our goal is to capture the human behind the art. (And maybe also to hear some free live music)
OUR STYLE
These photographs are windows into the artists' reasons for being where they are and doing what they do, and so we love images which tell that story - it's in their eyes, their hands... even their instruments themselves can tell us so much in an image.
