NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHY AT THE STUDIOH!
Now, these really are special moments! To capture images of your beautiful little new life is amazing and that privilege is not lost on us. We're parents ourselves to three magical little monsters so we know well how it feels in those first few weeks as you get into life with your new little companion, and we work around everything that comes with the territory to make your experience the best it can be for you and for your babies. When you book with us, the space is all yours during your session. We have a lovely space for you to sit and relax, and we have a fully kitted-out changing table with nappies, wipes and everything else you might need. The only thing you need to remember is your milk, the rest we can take care of.
A newborn shoot is normally within the first two weeks of your baby/babies being born, but we can still capture these moments with older babies too - if you send an enquiry we can discuss this in more detail.
OUR APPROACH
We will take a very easy going approach to capture the images you love and that you can treasure forever - we only have one newborn session per day so you have plenty of time to enjoy that tea/coffee you might normally never get chance to drink... feeding, baby change, cuddles and everything else that might come up during the shoot. You won't feel rushed and we will have time to get those perfect shots. We have lots of options available for photographs of your babies, and with all of them comfort and safety are big considerations - when we're placing you baby in a spot, and holding a camera above them, we make absolutely sure that nothing can go wrong and your baby is happy. We'll never make a baby unhappy just for a picture!
OUR STYLE
We like to keep it simple and natural for newborn photoshoots, so that we can capture the beauty of your newborn baby/babies - the tiny hands and feet, the expressions and everything else that changes so quickly. We have props, blankets and accessories at the studio, and if you have anything special that you would like to bring along we can accommodate this in the shoot. We also love to capture the beautiful moments between parents, siblings, and grandparents, so we encourage family members to participate in the shoot if you would be comfortable with this. We always make time for babies to settle when they need to, and if you've got a bottle we'll even do the feed if you like so that you can have some rare hands-free time!
